Christmas is coming and books make such a great gift for children, I thought I would share a post featuring some of the characters in my first Sir Chocolate book, Sir Chocolate and the strawberry cream berries story and cookbook.
Sir Chocolate is made from fondant or sugar dough and I used half of a chocolate flavoured Oreo biscuit for his top hat, together with a Rolo sweet. He is the hero of the Sir Chocolate series of books.
You can make Sir Chocolate yourself by following these step-by-step instructions:
Every story needs a villain. In Sir Chocolate and the strawberry cream berries story and cookbook, the villains are the trolls
Stinkpot, the troll, has a wife and two sons, who help him with his work of keeping the strawberry cream berries for themselves.
The blurb
The adventures of Sir Chocolate and Lady Sweet in poetry form. Michael came up with the idea of Sir Chocolate and Lady Sweet and many of the characters contained in the books, when he was ten years old. His ideas were such fun that Robbie decided to turn them into little verse books for his entertainment. The book contains recipes for children to make with adult assistance.
Formats
The book comes as a square colour book for very young children, an A5 book for older children and an ebook.
It includes a poem for the caregiver and five fun recipes that young children can make under adult supervision.
One of the recipes in this book is for delicious chocolate brownies.

A recent review
Vicki rated it 5 out of 5 stars on Goodreads and said:
What a delightful and delicious book this is for children. Parents will love it too. The poems are adorable and really work well and are not strained. I love the flow of Robbie and Michael’s words. They draw wonderfully imaginative pictures.
The story once again features Sir Chocolate and includes illustrations that are not your typical coloring book images or pastel images, they are three dimensional and made from fondant.
These books are adorable and would make perfect Christmas gifts!!
Thank you, Darlene.
Lots of goodness here Robbie.
Thank you, Brad.
A terrific idea for a book series Robbie…get children creatively involved in the creation of food – it brings out artistry and teaches them the joy of cooking as well…bravo!
Thank you, John. That was my idea. A fun book for parents and kids to enjoy together.
I’ve always thought your children’s book are creative and appealing. Great post. Gotta say, I love the name Stinkpot. My wife calls our female bulldog that.
Does she, that is so cute. Thanks for your feedback, Craig.
